Spring time truly has me enjoying the simple pleasures of life!  Maybe it is the beautiful flowers around my neighborhood or purposefully practicing contentment in my own life, but whatever the case may be, I truly rest is truly a gift not to be ignored.

When we work, love and live from a place of rest rather than stress, we actively live a whole lot healthier lives!

Enjoying the simple pleasures in life is one of the best ways to shut your mind off and fully engage in life! When you can tune out the “noise” your body can truly rest and heal.

10 Ways to Enjoy Life’s Simple Pleasures

Make a list of new activities, lessons or places you want to experience? Take the time to physically write them down and put these new adventures on your calendar!

Trust more, worry less—at the end of the day, there is only so much we as humans can do to control our situation, our health or the world around us.  Ultimately we just have to trust!

Go strawberry picking, or whatever your local area might be growing in season.

Be still. Put down the phone.

Fill up on fresh, tasty ingredients and cook without a recipe.  Chop, drizzle, sauté and enjoy the creative process.

Play like a child.  Be silly. Be spontaneous.  Laugh.

Fill your yard with colorful spring blooms and your home with a few new fresh plants or succulents.

Spend a dedicated amount of time going through each room and closet of your house and de-clutter.  Removing the physical and mental clutter allows room for growth, light and productivity.

Remove any guilt associated with resting and slowing down.

Open a bottle of wine.  Pull out the patio furniture.  Worry about folding laundry another day.
