Holiday Entertaining Must-HavesThis Christmas I am embracing imperfection—due to being *still* pregnancy sick, things seem to be everywhere, Christmas cards are not happening and I have yet to make any holiday treats!

But I am still choosing to enjoy this festive season with our cute chubby tree my husband put up and a big Christmas dinner we are hosting at our house.  Yes, I will let friends and family do the cooking, but in life we have a choice to put things off until the “perfect time” (newsflash, it will never happen) or choose to gather, be merry, eat and enjoy despite everything not being quite picture perfect!

Quality kitchen and serving pieces really make a difference and can remove a lot of stress when entertaining.

You honestly don’t need every new gadget out there or items you are only going to use once.  Instead invest in quality pieces that will last and use them over and over again!

Sharing a few of my favorite entertaining pieces, and items I actually use most often in my kitchen on a daily basis!

Be sure to check out this week’s podcast episode “5 Ways to Give Grace & Stress-less This Holiday Season” for more tips on enjoying this festive season and the “Conscious Living Holiday Gift Guide.”

Holiday Entertaining Must Haves

Whipped Cream Maker: an item I use almost daily and so fun to have real, homemade whipped cream for warm drinks.  This is great to let the children get involved too!

Fryer: My husband uses this almost daily and always makes fresh French fries for guests.  Plus there is no clean up so I love using this when we have people over!  We fill ours with coconut oil or olive oil!

Rimmed baking/cookie sheets:  These are a kitchen lifesaver and the rim makes sure that there is no spillage or messes!  I use these to make cookies or large portions of roasted veggies or potatoes.

White marble cheese tray: You can never have too many, and pretty dishes make serving food so much easier!

Appetizer/cheese knives or spreaders: I love this set because they work well and then you don’t have any awkward moments of guests not being able to cut their charcuterie!

Coasters: Helps keep your dinning or coffee table clean from drink spills!

Cocktail Napkins: I love these washable ones so that you can use them over and over again, plus no one likes dirty fingers!

Roasting pan: I think one or two good roasting pans are kitchen staples for roasting meats, vegetables or making scalloped potatoes.  This one makes clean up a dream too!

Cocktail shaker: This copper shaker is a must and makes drinks very chilly, plus it looks great even years later.

Christmas Mugs: Hot liquids in paper cups or mugs with bad handles is just a disaster waiting to happen! Plus then you can use these each year! Let your collection grow every year and then you have memories of different patterned cups!
