I adore springtime. Maybe it is because I dream in colors of coral, turquoise, green and soft yellow or maybe it is because spring represents a new beginning! Whatever the case, spring is here and I will fully embrace it!

Springtime foods come alive with colors—take advantage of what is available at the farmers market and add some diverse flavor and texture to your daily meals. Colorful foods are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants making you healthy, plus colorful foods make you happy! Ditch the dense soups and stews of winter for a colorful, fresh salad or plate of roasted veggies!

My favorite springtime garnishes
- green and purple spring onions
- fresh basil, rosemary, thyme
- carrots, radishes and asparagus in every color
- fresh berries
- zest of citrus
- baby lettuce leaves and fresh arugula
- new or waxy baby potatoes

Spring cleaning?! Oh how cleaning and throwing away takes time but is so rewarding in the long run. Get rid of those random things you haven’t touched in a few months, open the windows and bring in the fresh flowers.
I love sprucing up my home with a combination of fresh flowers, sweet smelling candles, succulents, colorful linens and a few new side plates. Bringing color into your daily table and kitchen will give you life a whole lot of vibrancy! Invest in a few new things you love and enjoy using them each day!
Personally I love changing out linens and side salad plates with the change of the season. I don’t use much paper or plastic so this is a great way I can cut down on wastes.
